About us

As a family based provider of services in the mental health sector, My Playground Quality Care's expanding this support into the NDIS space of Support Coordination/ Psychosocial Recovery Coaching. The successful candidate will have a lived experienced of mental health or a history in working with people with mental health conditions and Physical health needs. This position is offered as a contract position. My Playground Quality Care is keen to interview people who want to grow with us. Flexible work from home arrangements is available under supervision of worked hours. Hours are 9 to 5pm Monday to Friday with possible weekends if this is a participant need. Developing recovery enabling relationships, based on hope. Supporting the person with their recovery planning. Coaching to increase recovery skills and personal capacity. Experienced with Careview program advantageous ( training provided otherwise) Report writing, evaluation, case noting, referrals, implementation of NDIS plans, follow up, monitoring and supporting the achieving of NDIS goals. We are looking for individuals who are available to work across the Melbourne suburbs and inner city, someone who is proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills with both participants and management. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Certificate IV in Mental Health Community Services, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health peer work. The successful candidate will ideally have lived experience with mental health or a background in working with individuals facing mental health challenges and physical health needs.

This contract position offers an opportunity for growth within our company. We provide flexible work-from-home arrangements under the supervision of worked hours. The regular working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work based on participant needs.

The primary responsibilities of this role include developing recovery-oriented relationships based on hope, supporting individuals in their recovery planning, coaching to enhance recovery skills and personal capacity, and familiarity with the Careview program (training provided if necessary). Other tasks involve report writing, evaluation, case noting, referrals, implementing NDIS plans, follow-up, monitoring, and supporting the achievement of NDIS goals.
