THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director Sales, Product Design & Project Services, your main responsibility is to successfully run multiple hospitality, retail and/or commercial construction and fit-out type projects assigned to you, on time and on budget. For each project, you will be issued a budget, a list of appointed contractors and FSCI resources and you will be responsible for but not limited to, the following:
- Project, Quality & Risk Management inclusive of managing the Client and Key Stakeholders such as Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Building Management, Union Reps, etc
- Follow FSCI Processes while using our software to build and manage project schedules, cost reporting, manage KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, progress payments, variations and claims submissions
- As and when required supervise the assigned Site Manager(s)
- Procurement of required construction and fit-out items
- Ongoing communications with all stakeholders
- Fulfill performance management and project debrief requirements
- Attend Monthly Management Meetings at the office in Williamstown North.
ABOUT YOU:
- Must be a Permanent Residence as we unfortunately offer no sponsorship
- 2+ years in a similar Shop Fit-Out role
- Skilled at reading and understanding construction base drawings including mechanical, fire, electrical and hydraulic drawings
- Ability to create and maintain Project Schedule(s) and issue status reports on a regular basis
- Ability to assess and manage the requirements and risks of a project throughout its life-cycle
- Ability to manage multiple projects, large workloads, handling high-pressure situations while exhibiting the right behaviours at all times
- An instinctive problem solver with strong decision making, negotiation and influencing skills, along with a strong focus on meeting project specifications within budget and to determined deadlines
- Sound understanding of construction industry OHS&E, SWMS, legislation, regulations, and compliance obligations
- Technically literate and confident using laptop/tablet/software
- Construction White Card
- Australian Driver’s Licence
