We’ve recently launched our new payroll system, Employment Hero, and we’re looking for a skilled professional to drive system improvements and enhance payroll operations.
About the Role
This hybrid role can be based in Perth or Sydney and offers a 12-month fixed-term contract . You’ll play a key role in managing and streamlining payroll across multiple regions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Overseeing and managing payroll for Australia, New Zealand, UK, Singapore, and the Middle East.
• Processing end-to-end payroll, including deductions, allowances, and expenses.
• Managing payroll journals and coordinating month-end and year-end payroll processes.
• Preparing and submitting reports for Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and PAYG lodgements.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international employment laws and regulations.
• Handling payroll-related inquiries and liaising with external payroll providers.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records.
• Supporting HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and leave management.
• Updating and enforcing payroll policies and procedures.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Participating in payroll and HR-related projects.
What You’ll Bring
• Strong experience with Employment Hero payroll system (a must).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proven payroll processing experience across multiple regions.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and employment legislation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and continuously learn and grow.
