At our brand new Cancer Care Griffith (CCG) site, we are interested in hearing from passionate and dedicated professionals for a Part-Time, Permanent Oncology Registered Nurse position. This role will be for 24 hours per week.
Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager, we are seeking an experienced oncology nurse with recent experience in medical oncology.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based, comprehensive oncology nursing care.Practice in accordance with applicable Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.Provide holistic nursing care, high-level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.Conduct nursing observations and administer medications in line with policies and procedures.Collaborate with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.Key Points

Current and unrestricted registration and experience as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.Recent medical oncology experience. It is desirable to also have radiation oncology experience, but not essential.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.Effective care planning and coordination skills.Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.Ability to work collaboratively within a team.How to apply
