With a strong pipeline of work, they are expanding their team and looking for a Commissioning Manager to take ownership of commissioning activities on major projects.
About the Role
As a Commissioning Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful testing, commissioning, and energisation of electrical infrastructure projects. You will lead commissioning activities on-site, oversee compliance with industry standards, and work closely with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Responsibilities
Lead on-site commissioning of primary plant, protection, control, and communication systems.Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.Oversee defect identification and resolution in coordination with project teams.Execute Energisation Sequence Plans to ensure safe substation energisation.Provide technical expertise in design reviews, bids, and project execution.Report on progress, risks, and commissioning milestones to stakeholders.
Required Skills
Electrical background is preferredProven experience in commissioning large scale energy infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of protection, control, SCADA, and HV substation communication systems.Ability to lead teams, problem-solve, and work under pressure.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
