About the Role:
Adventist Senior Living proudly serves the needs of older Australians across northern New South Wales. We are seeking compassionate Home Care Employees who want to make a difference, enhancing the spiritual, physical, social and emotional wellbeing of our Newcastle (Jewels and West Wallsend) and Central Coast (Wyee) residents and clients.
Seeking both unqualified and qualified candidates (Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing), for part-time opportunities.
You'll receive an attractive hourly rate, plus salary sacrifice , commensurate with your skills and experience.

If you have:
- The commitment and willingness to learn on the job as an entry level employee, or
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged or Disability
- Demonstrated high standards of care for clients and their families
- Desirable, experience in a home care setting, providing domestics support or similar
- Understanding of person-centered care
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Follow instructions and procedures
- Plan and organise
- Cope with pressures & setbacks
Essentials for working in Aged Care:
- Australian Working Rights
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current and/or ongoing Flu and Hepatitis B vaccinations
- Current, Open Driver’s License
- Reliable Car with Registration + Comprehensive Insurance
