Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager experiencedin maintaining and expanding client relationships within the logistics and supply chain industry. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that support their supply chain goals.

The Account Manager works as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, building trust, and identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvement. Success in this role is defined by the ability to develop strong client partnerships, achieve revenue and profitability targets, and drive client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their transportation and logistics needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and work to expand our client base.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients to secure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that may arise ensuring smooth and timely deliveries.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data and industry insights to optimize transportation routes and costs, making informed decisions to benefit clients and the company.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within the transport and logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
  • Proven experience in managing broker relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of logistics software.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
