We are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative to support our Australian sales team and help transform the industry.
What does it mean? Here you go:
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel revenue.
- Working with our sales leadership team, create, prioritize, and qualify strategic target account lists.
- Drive new business via outbound prospecting and cold calling into must-win strategic accounts.
- Qualify inbound leads and turn them into pipeline opportunities.
- Call and email targeted potential clients. Conduct initial conversations and present our industry-level value.
- Understand a prospect’s needs and effectively communicate how GlobalDots will meet them.
- Give high-level solution overview presentations online.
- Discover new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/commenting.
- Research and build new and existing accounts (e.g., adding contacts, sending regular emails, strategic appointment setting).
- Follow up on a high volume of new leads in a rapid manner.
- Set up introductory calls with our Account Executives and prospective customers.
- Support marketing efforts by assisting in online, direct mail, and other marketing campaigns.
What does it take?
Is it all about the experience? You must have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding measurable goals in a highly automated, metrics-based phone sales environment.
Technology, technology, technology. Knowledgeable of technology industry trends in at least one of the following industries: Public Clouds, CDN, Security, and DevOps.
Be an expert. Ability to understand customer requirements and identify business challenges that GlobalDots can solve.
Be creative. You are confident and like to think outside the box!
Time is money. Self-discipline, focus, and strong time management skills are needed to effectively manage an intense and high-volume business.
You are on fire! Articulate and passionate; this comes through in your excellent verbal and written communication skills.
