How will I help?
This role sits within the Consumer Chief Data Office and works closely with Payments Transformation team, a high-performing unit within the broader Digital, Consumer & Business Banking. The team is uniquely positioned to influence strategic decisions and drive innovation in a rapidly evolving payments landscape
The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact analytics and insights to support payments transformation and innovation initiatives within the bank. The successful candidate will work on key projects such as implementing cutting-edge payment solutions, enhancing digital wallet capabilities, driving customer engagement with payment products, and analysing trends to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver analytical insights to support payments-related projects, focusing on customer behaviour, payment trends, and product performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Support the development and execution of payments strategy through data modelling, visualisation, and forecasting techniques.Proactively identify opportunities to optimise payments processes, improve customer experience, increase revenue and drive cost efficiencies.Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of key projects, from inception to post-implementation review.

What do I need?
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in working with large datasets.SQL for data extraction, wrangling and data discovery Experience in analytics within financial services/banking/telecommunication/FMCG or related sectors Ability to present analysis and technical information to a non-technical audienceExperience with Python and SAS (Desirable)Commercial acumen, high level analysis and problem-solving abilities Great written & verbal communication skills Understanding in the application of machine learning models for business purposes. Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI (desirable)
