About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to spearhead the strategic direction and execution of a national master brand within our growing portfolio. You will be based in Brisbane and play a critical role in shaping this brand, from high-level strategy to in-market execution.
With a proven ability to elevate brand presence, you will be the driving force behind brand storytelling, campaign innovation, and product portfolio growth. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business—Sales, Trade Marketing, Digital, Events, and Executive teams—to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall company objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Brand Leadership
- Define and lead comprehensive brand strategies and through-the-line marketing plans that drive consumer demand and meet customer needs.
- Lead the annual brand planning process, to develop and execute short- and long-term brand activity that aligns with overall company objectives.
- Oversee the annual brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with business objectives.
- Marketing & Communications Oversight
- Direct ATL, digital, content and communications strategies; manage relationships with both internal teams and external agencies.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (e.g., advertising, digital, in-store activations, etc.).
- Creative & Product Development
- Lead and guide the creative process, ensuring brand integrity across all touchpoints—from packaging and design to advertising and in-store materials.
- Drive the product portfolio strategy, including new product development, packaging innovations, and ongoing range management.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Mentor and develop junior team members, including one direct report (ABM) fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Shopper Marketing, Events, Digital, Sales, and Executive teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and execution
- Work closely with our Sunshine Coast based venue teams to build brand experience and presence
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze brand performance, market trends, research and competitor activity to refine strategies and tactics in real-time.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management and sales leads, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Event & Activation Leadership
- Work with Events and Trade marketing teams to deliver exceptional consumer and trade activations that enhance brand visibility and engagement, from small-scale brand-in-hand promotions to large-scale events.
- Work closely with events teams and external partners to ensure brand experiences are on-strategy and fully optimized.
- Field Engagement
- Dedicate regular time in the field to collaborate with sales teams, gather consumer insights, and identify opportunities for brand growth.
- Motivate and equip field forces with compelling brand stories, sales tools, and robust campaign support.
