About the role
We are recruiting for a Legal Services Administrator to join our friendly team in Brisbane in a part-time (0.6FTE) role on a 12 month contract.
In the role, you will provide administrative support to our legal practice areas. Your day will be engaging with a range of varied tasks to utilise your attention to detail and proficiency with technology. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn is a must - we will teach you the rest with a blend of 1:1 training, in person guidance and online modules.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing draft documentation for legal teams
- Drafting agreements for prospective clients and opening new legal matters
- Sorting and compiling medical, insurance and legal briefs
- File management of physical and electronic files
- Archiving legal files
- Any other ad hoc administration tasks that might come your way
The experience we are looking for
You are a team player, highly organised and detail orientated. You are keen to learn and develop you skills. In addition, you will have:
- Experience within an office or administration environment desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Tech-savvy skills with an ability to learn new software, processes, and platforms
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships
- Desire to be proactive in seeking to learn new skills
- Ability to always maintain firm and client confidentiality
