Retail Assistant Manager – Various Locations
Trinity Petroleum Services Pty Ltd is a locally operated company with 16 Fuel & Convenience Retail outlets across Northern Queensland. We are currently seeking customer focused, experienced Retail Assistant Managers to join our team at the following locations:
- Cooktown
- Atherton Tablelands
- Cairns
- Edmonton
- Tully
- Mirriwinni
In this role you will support the daily operations of the store, assist with team leadership and ensure a high standard of customer service. The role requires availability to work across store trading hours, including weekends, as well as experience in the safe handling and preparation of takeaway food. Additionally, you will be responsible for merchandising and stock rotation, so you must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
As a Retail Assistant Manager you take pride in the success and presentation of your site and have a great attention to detail. You will be required to assist the Site Manager in all daily operations of the site, which includes;
- Meeting assigned budgets and KPIs
- Staff rostering, mentoring and training
- Food preparation and handling
- Volume cash handling and reconciliations
- Providing exceptional customer service and operating the console
- Merchandising, marketing and stock management - receipting inward goods, lifting, restocking and layout variations
- Ensuring food safety standards are adhered and followed
- Weekend work
