Our Facilities Maintenance team provide planned and responsive maintenance, emergency repairs, disability modification upgrades, vacant restorations, property surveys, demolition, asbestos removal, and construction services throughout New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania.
The Opportunity:
We seek a motivated Compliance and Training Coordinator to join our Facilities Maintenance team based out of our Port Pirie office.
Reporting to the Compliance and Training Manager, the Compliance Support Officer will provide operational and administrative support to the Compliance Team to ensure RTC’s ongoing compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety obligations.
Standard working weeks are 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with no two days being the same.
Key Duties:
• Facilitate internal system audits
• Assist with the identification of operational, contractual and compliance risks.
• Action audit requests and non-conformity reports.
• Develop and distribute communications.
• Assist with the onboarding of subcontractors, including the facilitation of inductions and training.
• Maintenance of internal databases.
About You:
The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level customer service skills and have previous experience working in an operations or administration support role.
With multiple projects on the go at any one time, you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and be adept at managing multiple competing demands to ensure work orders are completed in line with set timeframes.
You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal and have the people skills required to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Working closely with our operations team, sub-contractors and clients, you will be an effective collaborator, whilst also being highly autonomous to coordinate all aspects of work orders without direction.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in an operations or administration support role (Experience in the building industry will be highly regarded).
• Understanding of Australian Standards and National Construction Code (Desirable).
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management systems.
• National Police Check
