Salary Range - $111,273 - $118,566 plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Senior Compliance Coordinator to join our Development Services team. In this critical role, you will ensure developments comply with relevant approvals and the Planning, Development, and Infrastructure Act, while managing complex compliance matters and representing Council in court proceedings. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, mentoring junior staff, and delivering customer-focused solutions, you will play a vital role in fostering a high-quality, safe, and sustainable built environment.
About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:
- A qualification (or currently studying) in Urban/Regional Planning, Building Surveying, or equivalent experience.
- A strong knowledge of the Planning, Development, and Infrastructure Act and associated regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in investigations within the development sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and confidence with diverse stakeholders.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to innovation and teamwork.
