Description:
The Education Standards Board is currently recruiting an experienced Information Management Officer for a fixed term 2 year contract. This exciting role is ideal for an individual with a background in record storage, retrieval and disposal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining high quality information, auditing, reporting and user documentation
- Investigating operational tools including Business Classification Schemes
- Delivering training in relation to compliance with relevant information and records management legislation
- Developing recommendations that detail information and records management improvements and strategies to senior management
- Providing advice to clients and stakeholders regarding information and records management practices and procedures
- Identifying Information Management process improvements by way of digital transformation
To be considered you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities:
- Experience in working under limited direction as well as managing a diverse range of tasks to achieve objectives within a changing and developing environment
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of new information management processes, documents and training materials
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and work with a broad range of staff and stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team
- Experience in developing and implementing information governance and compliance strategies, including digital transformation business improvements and processes
- Experience in the development, evaluation and application of disposal schedules
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
