The Opportunity
With a strong presence within Western Australia and with continued growth, we have a new and challenging opportunity arise for an experienced General Manager to join our Heavy Lift Team.
The primary purpose of the Heavy Lift General Manager is to oversee the general management and growth of the Western Australia business, this will be across multiple locations and projects. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer- Qube Heavy Lift

Specific Responsibilities
- Oversee the General Management of multiple sites and projects across western Australia whilst providing strategic leadership, ensuring that business objectives related to safety, efficiency, quality, and profitability are consistently met
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan, budget, and schedule all controllable resources to achieve maximum operational efficiency.
- Promote continuous improvement and adaptability, implementing new processes as appropriate.
- Previous experience required in a similar role within the heavy haulage and or crane hire industry.
- Drive business growth through client engagement, strategic planning and market analysis.
- Actively participate in identifying new business opportunities and preparing tender proposals.
- Observe, direct and correct operating behaviour of employees under supervision to ensure safe work practices
- Facilitate communication and teamwork across all organizational levels.
- Represent the company in external meetings and engagements as required
Key Requirements for the role:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the heavy haulage and or crane hire industry
- Computer/IT literate - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and report writing
- Proven P&L management experience and financial reporting capability.
- Strong understanding of contract, commercial, and operational management
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously and within deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrated ability in delivering exceptional HSE standards.
- High-level stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage contractual issues.
