Due to exciting project work that is increasing the team’s workload, we are seeking two Lending Support Specialists to report directly to the Retail Lending Manager supporting the Retail Lending and Settlement functions and maintaining the ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC), fraud prevention and ‘anti-money laundering’ (AML) processes. Project involvement and process insights will also be identified and discussed where process improvements can be made.
Responsibilities
• Assist with stakeholder engagement and support introducer relationships (i.e. inbound calls, emails, letters).
• Complete KYC/AML and fraud prevention requirements for Retail Lending applications.
• Extending support to the effective operations of Retail Lending and Settlement functions, following guidelines and procedures to meet desired outcomes.
• Support the Retail Operations division across various projects and process improvement initiatives as required.
• Other tasks as requested from senior leadership teams from time to time.
Your background
• Understanding of Financial Services including processes fundamental to Retail Lending and Settlements.
• Min. 2+ years’ experience in Financial Services involving a phone and/or administration-based role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability work to deadlines.
• Well-developed organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to prioritise effectively, finalise projects and achieve desired outcomes.
