How will I help?
As an Analyst, BCM Operational Risk, you will be responsible for implementing, embedding, and managing risk management and monitoring processes and obligations in the BCM & Regulatory Affairs BT team, supporting consistent implementation, and embedding of risk management framework, policies, and controls. You will be partnering with key stakeholders on all matters risk and control, responsible for the implementation of solutions to risk and control problems. It is an expectation of this role to support a strong risk culture that embodies our ethics and integrity, balancing commercial and customer needs. You will be working as part of a team of risk professionals contributing to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the business in how to perform controls and self-assessments and comply with their risk and compliance obligations.
- Identifying and escalating occurrences of non-adherence to established processes to enable compliance.
- Gathering data from a variety of sources and compiling & maintaining reports, dashboard and presentations as required.
- Working directly with Risk Management and Monitoring managers to provide input and context to incident assessment.
- Reviewing and verifying incident and issues data in JUNO. Reviewing quality of JUNO records and updates by monitoring and tracking actions against risk and control issues identified.
- Actively contributing to and participating in Risk Community of Practice, sharing challenges, insights, and learnings

What do I need?
To be successful in this role you will have 2-3 years’ experience in a large and complex organisation, primarily in the financial services industry. You will have a Quality Assurance background, with Risk Management, Legal or Compliance experience. You will have strong influencing and negotiating skills, with experience in planning, coordination and reporting activities. Experience in web publishing e.g. internet, SharePoint as well as being an intermediate/advanced user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint would be advantageous. You will also have:
