At Queensland Country Health we have a friendly and supportive work environment where we provide high quality preventative dental and general dental services from our practices in Townsville, Mount Isa and Mackay.
As a Qualified Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality chairside and surgery support, be experienced in instrument reprocessing and infection control and be well-versed in establishing long-term patient relationships.
Your Experience
- A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
- Experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience in instrument reprocessing procedures including instrument tracking and documentation requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of current infection control standards
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and patient focus
- The ability to work well in a team environment
