Let’s talk about this role
As the Senior Manager, Prudential Risk & Accountability, you will work across the nib Group and specifically nib’s APRA regulated Private Health Insurance business to ensure key prudential requirements are embedded and operating effectively.
This role will partner with the business to ensure prudential requirements such as Financial Accountability Regime (FAR), CPS220 (Risk Management) and CPS 230 (Operational Risk) are embedded and operating effectively. The role will also support effective coordination and execution of nib’s internal audit plan.
Let’s talk about you
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant prudential standards, including FAR and CPS 220, as well as experience in enabling and applying them. You should also have solid technical expertise and experience embedding risk and compliance requirements into business processes.
You are familiar with delivery of assurance services, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and are able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and required outcomes.
Furthermore, we’re looking for:

Tertiary or industry recognised qualifications in business management, finance, accounting, legal or a related discipline

A strong understanding of contemporary Risk and Compliance related frameworks, methodologies and standards

Strong change management skills, including experience in business change management and transformation relating to operational environments

Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to contribute to the development of operational policies, procedures and guidelines

High attention to detail with proven developed analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

Experience and/or familiarity with the incoming APRA CPS 230 Operational Risk Management standard (ideal)
