Your Opportunity

Working within a residential aged care facility, this role will liaise with different stakeholders in a professional and timely manner. You will be the point of contact for all enquiries and be involved in ensuring security and communication with multidisciplinary services.

This is a 4-month fixed term contract role and we are looking for someone who can work Monday through Thursday.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Liaising with multidisciplinary professional services such as police, ambulance ensuring that information is given for expediency of treatment given to care recipient, staff and visitors.
  • Be the contact person for visitors and suppliers and ensure all phone calls are attended and directed to the correct department
  • Update care recipient information sheet in accordance with room and mobility status for effective dissemination of information
  • Maintain 24-hour rosters and appropriate staffing levels as per the accreditation standards
  • Provide assistance to different areas of aged care to make sure smooth functioning of the facility
  • Ensure care recipients movements are accurately recorded in the register
  • Work along with the director of care and registered nurse to make sure all clinical supplies and dietary information are recorded on a day-to-day basis
  • Organize archiving files and record all files on register.

Requirements for Success

  • A relevant qualification in administration
  • Strong organising and customer service skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS office Suites
  • Understanding of mental health and conflict resolution
  • Provide evidence of Covid 19 Booster and flu vaccination

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks.
