This forward-thinking energy company is dedicated to drive sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contractor is experienced across wind, solar and energy storage infrastructure.
With a well-equipped and experienced team in place, they are looking for a Project Manager to coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle from initial planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations of this renewable battery plant project based in Brendale. Construction has commenced, consisting of delivering bulk earthworks, transformer pads, facilities and battery installation works. This individual will lead the project team to ensure successful delivery of the project within approved scope, time, cost, and quality parameters while managing risks and stakeholders’ expectations.
While reporting into the Project Director your duties will include:
- Develop and implement the project delivery plan & programming
- Review of procurement & contract documentation
- Monitoring costs against budget
- Managing engineers & site staff
- Management of EPC contractors and technical consultants
- Change management for scope changes & variations
- Stakeholder engagement and management, including local community & regulatory bodies
- Risk management, including technical, commercial, and safety risks
To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering ($100M+) major energy or infrastructure projects across mining, civil, or electrical. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management tertiary qualifications are required.
This role will suit a hard-working industry professional with extensive civil or renewable construction project management experience. You will oversee one of Australia's largest battery energy storage systems (BESS) and be a part of Australia’s renewable & energy future plans.
