About the Role


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Bidding Team in a dynamic rail and infrastructure business. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with a collaborative team, and has a bubbly personality.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support to the Bidding Team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in document preparation, formatting, and coordination for bid submissions.
  • Manage and maintain records, files, and templates on SharePoint.
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and manage calendars for key stakeholders.
  • Support the team with Microsoft Office Suite tasks, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist in collating data and reports for bid proposals and presentations.

About You



  • A positive and energetic approach to work, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a fast-moving and collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience in an administration role, preferably within a construction, rail, or infrastructure environment, is highly regarded but not essential.
