We are currently searching for an inspiring leader to join our team at our Sydney Distribution Centre based in Banksmeadow. This role is permanent and full time, and is responsible for leading an Operations Team of approximately 22 people across permanent & casual roles.

Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for:
- All aspects of Warehouse operations including inbound & outbound inventory flows, returns and transfers, store-pick-pack, inventory accuracy, freight & logistics, people and work health & safety.
- Ongoing operational efficiency and performance optimisation.
- Financial management, tracking and reporting of all Warehouse operations and the tracking & reporting of the operating cost base of the Warehouse relative to approved budgets/forecast.
- Implementing and driving best-practice inventory accuracy and stock control.
- Overseeing the execution and management of timely and efficient order dispatch processes to Wholesale, Retail stores and online direct-to customer.
- Effective management of outbound logistics processes and Partners (Australia Post, DHL, Startrack, Shippit etc) to ensure that DIFOT measures and overall cost management targets are achieved.
- All aspects of warehouse labour management, including permanent/casual labour mix and rostering, time & attendance discipline and tracking.
- Maintenance of a safe, clean and tidy warehouse environment in accordance with all WHS requirements and with the safety of team members at the forefront of operations and decision-making.
- People and culture management including team design & bench strength, recruitment, onboarding, performance development, performance management.
- Operations and uptime of the various warehouse management systems including reporting, maintenance and new process design to identify and implement recommendations on system and process improvements.
- Ensuring that the Warehouse Operations Team are aligned with Assembly Label’s culture, brand vision and values.
