About the Role

We are seeking an HCS Technical Lead to provide strategic technical leadership for the Hosting and Cloud Services team in Adelaide. You will lead technical aspects of projects, ensure high-quality solutions, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical expertise, process enhancement, and team mentorship. This role is offered as a 1 year maximum-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of IT systems.
  • Provide expert technical advice, support, and guidance to teams.
  • Manage system upgrades, maintenance, and service recovery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on project planning and execution.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team development.
  • Most importantly, you are awesome, collaborative, brave, and a good human!

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in IT systems administration or a related role.
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications.
  • Proven expertise in relevant IT technologies (Windows Server, VMware, SQL Server, IaaS).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer and service delivery focused.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and provide mentorship.
  • Experience with IaC, DevOps, and Agile methodologies (desirable).
