Your New Role- Business Development Manager
You will be able to utilize all contacts and facilities to ensure your clients are well-catered for and all their service expectations are exceeded!
You will be responsible for growing market for this client with an uncapped territory.
- Identify, target, and secure new business.
- Develop, report, and pursue a continuing active pipeline
- Prepare and present proposals and tenders to senior decision-makers
- Negotiate rate and service agreements with prospects and service providers
- Design and implement standard operating procedures for new business
- Planning and developing presentations
- Assisting in the development of marketing literature
- Building and developing relationships with potential clients
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Business Development role
- Local Market experience is essential
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Freight Forwarding Sales
- Previous management experience with a strong ability to drive, develop and motivate team members
- Advanced negotiation and relationship skills
- Experience influencing and engaging key figures in client organizations
- Strong financial expertise with demonstrated ability to develop and implement business structures
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- High attention to detail and strong planning and organizing skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
