Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (April 2025 – April 2026, with possibility of extension)
Hourly Rate: $120 + Super
Security Clearance: Baseline (or at least an Australian Citizen)
End Date: April 2026
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Solution/Data Architect to join a dynamic team working with one of our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in data engineering, architecture, and governance to design and implement cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modelling, ETL processes, and database structures to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse organisational data needs and translate them into effective solutions.
• Design and implement data architecture frameworks.
• Develop and optimise data models and database designs.
• Ensure seamless integration of new and existing data systems.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Assess and enhance data quality , identifying and eliminating corrupt data.
• Implement security protocols and standards to safeguard data architecture.
• Provide expert guidance on data storage, extraction, and ETL processes .
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture design and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in data architecture.

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least 6+ years’ experience in Solution/Data Architecture or Data Analysis.
• Strong understanding of database structures, data management principles, and ETL tools .
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools .
• Knowledge of data integration, data privacy, and governance frameworks .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data concepts clearly.
