About the role
The Senior Project - Works Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing capital works within time and budget, and to the highest standards. You will supervise staff, and report to the Director Infrastructure Services.

Duties

• Supervise the Works Coordinator and depot staff.
• Develop and manage capital works programs.
• Oversee contract preparation, procurement, and tender processes.
• Liaise with the engineers, Works Coordinator and gangers on progress
• Provide monthly progress and financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team.

Skills & experience

• Civil Engineering Degree (essential).
• Post Graduate qualifications (desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in project management and delivery.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in contract management and procurement.
• White Card.
• Australian Drivers license.
