As a Clinical Operations Manager , you’ll play a key role in leading and developing a high-performing mental health clinical team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring service quality, managing clinical supervision, and engaging with key stakeholders to drive operational excellence. Your leadership will help secure service continuity and client satisfaction.

In this role, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing day to day clinical operations to ensure high quality service delivery.
  • Providing clinical supervision to mental health clinicians and conducting quality audits o drive insight for improvement.
  • Accountability for clinical escalation and support across operating hours.
  • Driving strategic improvements to enhance service performance and client confidence.
  • Leading and mentoring a team, fostering engagement and professional growth.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships, including clinical and non-clinical clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical governance and accreditation requirements.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • A postgraduate qualification in Mental Health with a minimum of 12 months (full time equivalent) demonstrated experience working in this context.
  • Must meet the requirements of an Australian College of Mental Health mental health nurse, and either be credentialled or willing to obtain accreditation.
  • Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse).
  • Proven experience in mental health leadership and clinical supervision.
  • Strong resilience and adaptability in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive service improvements.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships.
