About the Role:
As the Senior Marketing Specialist , you'll play a pivotal role in helping drive fundraising success and promoting our support services to families in need.
In this dynamic role, you'll dedicate 70% of your time to empowering the Fundraising team , crafting compelling campaigns, engaging content, and high-quality collateral to help drive revenue and build strong partnerships. The remaining 30% will focus on the development and execution of engaging campaigns and material to encourage families and their extended networks to use the range of Redkite’s support services.

You are a proactive and creative marketing professional with a passion for making an impact. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven track record of developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and fundraising success.
You are a strong storyteller and creative thinker , with exceptional copywriting skills that allow you to craft compelling messaging for different audiences. You will be highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines , and have a keen eye for detail.
You love working with stakeholders across teams , and you have the ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic, mission-driven organisation. With a proven track record in campaign management, digital marketing, email automation, and data-driven campaign optimisation , you are excited to contribute to a genuinely impactful cause.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Campaigns & Events (70%):
  • Collaborate with fundraising counterparts to develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement and revenue.
  • Coordinate campaign deliverables by briefing content specialists, social media experts, graphic designers, and external providers.
  • Develop, plan, and execute EDM (Electronic Direct Mail) campaigns to nurture and engage supporters.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to test and optimise digital marketing campaigns.
  • Provide marketing support across the MarComms team as needed.
  • Support Partnership Managers in recognising and strengthening key corporate relationships through joint marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and execute brand promotion opportunities in collaboration with corporate partners.
  • Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for future activity.
  • Prepare campaign and project reports to help optimise future fundraising strategies.
Support for Services (30%):
  • Develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive family engagement.
  • Assist in developing resources and marketing materials for families, the wider community, and healthcare professionals .
  • Plan, write, and execute EDMs in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Coordinate the creation, updates, design, and printing of essential collateral for Services.

Experience & Skills:
  • 5+ years in a similar marketing role , preferably in a fundraising or not-for-profit environment .
  • Proven experience in developing and leading marketing campaigns that drive engagement and revenue.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills , with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as:
  • Web CMS (WordPress)
  • Design software (Canva)
  • Email marketing tools (Campaign Monitor, Pardot)
Excellent project management skills , with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines under pressure. High attention to detail to ensure all work is polished and accurate. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
