What outcomes will you achieve?
The Team Leader, Support Coordination and Partnerships is responsible for coordinating partnerships and ensuring the delivery of quality support services to drive tenant sustainability aligned with Bridge Housing’s Support Partner Strategy.
The role is responsible for managing a team of five Housing Support Coordinators across the Brookvale and Sydney CBD offices who work closely with our Housing teams to connect tenants with support services that will support the sustainment of individual tenancies. The role is primarily based within the Sydney CBD office but requires travel to the Brookvale office on a regular basis.
What does the day to day include?
- Support the ongoing success of Bridge Housing and the Housing and Community team by assisting with the development and implementation of the business and operational plans and related programs and projects.
- Support the continuous improvement and development of services offered to tenants by developing and maintaining partnerships with support providers and other key stakeholders that will improve outcomes for tenants.
- Help to support improved outcomes for tenants by educating and informing other departments on available support providers and supporting them with complex tenancies.
- Ensure the effective delivery of services to complex tenants by working collaboratively with internal and external support partners and monitoring their adherence to partnership agreements, government contracts and service level agreements.
- Ensure the Support Coordination team provides consistent high-quality service to internal and external customers by managing their adherence to the Customer Service Standards, policies and procedures and managing complaints and appeals to effective resolution.
- Identify opportunities for new alliances and partnerships and monitor delivery of partnership agreements to ensure improved tenancy outcomes.
- Ensure the Support Coordination team works within the relevant regulatory and compliance framework by staying up to date on regulations affecting community housing, being responsible for implementing the necessary changes to workplace policy and procedures and providing accurate reports and analysis on operational performance.
- Assist in driving the company culture and performance through leadership practices that attracts and retains high quality staff, manages performance and develop employee capabilities.
- Increase the profile and reputation of Bridge Housing by building strategic networks and partnerships, attending industry forums and being an active member of the community housing sector.
Who are we looking for?
- A relevant tertiary level qualification or equivalent experience
- Significant experience of working within a support service provisory environment to achieve excellent individual outcomes.
- Significant understanding and knowledge of Social Housing and the homelessness, health and welfare service system in NSW
- Experience in managing and leading high performing teams

This role is graded as a Level 6 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award. Bridge Housing currently offers above-award remuneration, plus NFP salary packaging, plus superannuation.
This role is paid at a base salary of $117,345 – $122,527, plus salary packaging and superannuation. In real terms, this means $141,006.14 – $146,783.71 per annum.
