Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Scientific / Technical Officer to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Health.
The Scientific / Technical Officer provides operational laboratory service expertise within a highly professional and agile technical team in support of the Faculty’s research endeavors. The role is responsible for the effective, safe and sustainable operation of a range of laboratory research facilities as well as specialist equipment, based at Kevin Grove. The role requires significant discipline specific knowledge in the area of biomedical sciences, including but not limited to cell and molecular biology, various omics disciplines and bioengineering. The role is responsible for delivering high quality research support to academics and students within relevant disciplines.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a Bachelor degree in biomedical sciences or related field; or an Associate Diploma level qualification with at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, or training.
