About the Role:
Are you passionate about building strong community connections and making a meaningful impact in the disability sector? We are looking for an NDIS Partnerships Officer to join our EP Care division. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on community engagement, service collaboration and fostering positive relationships with individuals, families and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
As an NDIS Partnerships Officer, you will:
- Build and maintain relationships with community services, organisations and stakeholders.
- Support a small caseload of NDIS participants with coordination of services.
- Assist in reviewing participant NDIS plans and provide recommendations for client-centered supports and best practices.
- Contribute to securing community-based grants to support initiatives for individuals with disabilities.
- Organise and participate in community events and engagement activities for the NDIS division.
- Work closely with families, participants and professionals to enhance community support networks.
- Ensure a high standard of professional engagement with families and service providers.
About you:
- Experience in Support Coordination or Plan Management within the NDIS framework.
- Strong ability to build relationships and network within the community.
- Knowledge of NDIS plans, funding categories and best practices in client-centered support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and their families.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
Requirements (Current or Willing to Obtain)
- Proof of Australian citizenship, residency, or valid work visa.
- QLD Open Driver’s License.
- QLD Working with Children Blue Card.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
- Infection Control Certificate.
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009).
- National Police Check (less than 6 months old).
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Disability Services, Community Services or a related field (preferred).
- Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module.
- Willingness to undergo additional training tailored to participants’ needs.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role (preferred).
