Building Certifier / Surveyor & Cadet Building Certifier

Description:

We are actively seeking a qualified Building Certifier with a strong knowledge of the Building Act & Regulations and local planning schemes specific to Queensland, to join a leading Building Certification company, with a long-term passion to provide proactive outcomes, and excellence in professional service to their well-established client base.

The role would suit a competent Certifier who is looking for a hybrid type of working model, where you have the flexibility and focus to work from your home office, undertake site inspections and head into the office for a day or two, as required.

With the company growth, there is also an opportunity for a Cadet who is currently studying to become a Building Certifier to join this fabulous team. This role will be a paid cadetship, along with an excellent opportunity to be mentored by your colleagues.

• Strong knowledge of building & construction practices, building-related law, building codes & standards
• Intermediate computer literacy skillset
• Passionate about the industry and outcomes for valuable clientele
• Self-managed to deliver certification services to optimum timelines
• Proactive nature offering suggestions for continuous improvement
• Strong desire to work with a focused and collaborative team

Qualifications / Licences

• Diploma of Building Certification or Cadet – currently studying
• Member of AIBS or AIBS Student Member
• White card
• Current driver’s licence
