An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to join our highly collaborative national P&D team leading the HR function for the Perth office, for global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright on a 12 month parental leave cover. This is a 4 day per week opportunity.
This is a key role in the People & Development team and is responsible for the delivery of best practice results in the attraction, retention, engagement and performance of our people in line with our business principles and objectives. The role will work closely with and support business leaders across the full suite of HR activities, in a dynamic, fast moving and high performing environment. The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Support partners and managers in talent management, performance management, training and coaching, IR / ER issues and performance reviews
- Manage the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and coach the business through change and culture programs
- Execute and communicate all annual processes including performance and remuneration reviews, as well as promotions and engagement survey results
- Actively participate in key projects/initiatives to support organisational strategic goals and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have a strong background in HR business partnering ideally with a minimum of 5 years Senior HR generalist experience gained within a professional or financial services firm or large corporate. Able to demonstrate a strong ability to manage relationships with senior business leaders as well as commercial awareness and understanding of how to align HR initiatives with business strategy, you will also have excellent relationship-building skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience of working within a highly professional and complex HR environment
- Good understanding of employment legislation, industrial agreements and contemporary HR practice
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with senior business leaders and strong commercial awareness
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
