Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Oversee a dedicated team of CHSP staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Implement staff training programs and continuous learning initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Promote a client-centered approach and ensure staff adhere to best practices in aged care.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for team development and succession planning.
- Lead the growth of CHSP services by identifying and implementing new opportunities for client engagement and service improvement.
- Develop strategies to ensure a seamless transition for CHSP clients moving to higher care needs, including Home Care Packages.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt business strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create innovative and effective service delivery models.
- Ensure that all CHSP services align with Amana Living’s high standards and comply with industry regulations, quality frameworks, and funding requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and service reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Oversee the development of care plans that are tailored to client needs and support reablement.
- Ensure a client-focused approach, promoting dignity, respect, and independence in service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues, resolving them in a proactive and professional manner.
- Collaborate across Amana Living teams to enhance service integration and operational efficiencies.
- Engage with external providers, government agencies, and industry groups to advocate for the needs of CHSP clients.
- Develop, and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.
- Identify and address financial variances, ensuring cost-effective service delivery without compromising quality.
- Oversee workforce planning and rostering to ensure optimal staff levels and service coverage.

- Leverage data analysis and performance metrics to drive operational improvements and informed decision-making.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify, develop, and implement innovative service delivery models to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback from clients, employees, and stakeholders.
- Lead change management strategies to adapt to evolving industry regulations and client needs.
- Evaluate current systems and processes, recommending and executing improvements that enhance service quality
- Stay up to date with aged care policies, CHSP legislation, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in aged care service delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect clients and staff.
- Represent Amana Living at industry forums and networking events to remain informed of sector developments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage and develop high-performing teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in aged care, particularly in CHSP services, is highly desirable
- Ability to analyse data, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- A genuine commitment to quality service and a passion for aged care
Essential Requirements:
- National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months) or NDIS Worker’s Screening Check
- Proof of current influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations
- Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence
- Current AHPRA Registration (if applicable)
- Willingness to obtain a bankruptcy check & key personnel check
