About the Role
We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated talent with experience in the maintenance, engineering or resource industries, who are interested in upcoming opportunities within the Maintenance Strategy Governance (MSG) team within MECoE team.
As part of the MSG team, you will improve the way equipment is maintained through our core processes of maintenance strategy development, governance and optimisation.
Reporting to the Superintendent WAIO MS&G Fixed Plant team, this role will be responsible for governing centralised maintenance strategies. The role will provide exposure to:
- Facilitating improvement initiatives to optimise maintenance and equipment performance.
- Reporting and engaging with various Sites, Functions at varying levels within the business.
- Provide end to end governance of existing Master Data and ensure the integrity of centralised maintenance strategies are maintained.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated relevant & in-depth practical experience in Mines, Port & Rail Fixed plant equipment like material handling, balanced machines, infrastructure assets, rail rolling stock or track, etc.
- Have a proven background in Reliability Centred Maintenance and using Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to develop maintenance strategies.
- Strong understanding of mining value chain (i.e. how to identify bottlenecks and prioritise workload).
- Strong presentation, problem solving and facilitation skills.
- Experience in defect elimination and Root Cause Analysis.
- Engineering degree qualified or equivalent relevant experience.
- SAP knowledge - Work Management.
- APM knowledge (Desirable).
- Data analytic capabilities (Desirable).
Location and Roster
This role is open to Permanent or Fixed-Term (12 months) depending on successful applicants skills and experience.
You will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.
