You will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Category Analysts, and executives providing coaching and support to drive business results;
• Oversee and manage a specific category, driving strategic decisions through thorough data analysis and market insights;
• Develop and implement category strategies to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional planning;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and supply chain, to execute business strategies and achieve targets;
• Analyse sales, margin, and inventory performance to make informed recommendations for growth and improvement;
• Develop actionable insights from data to ensure category performance aligns with company goals; and
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms to maximize category profitability.

What you will have:

• 7 + years in experience as a Category Manager or Category Analyst within e-commerce or retail environments;
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring a small team;
• In-depth knowledge of category management principles, including range planning, pricing, promotions, and vendor negotiations;
• Highly analytical, with a proven ability to use data to drive decision-making and solve complex problems;
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; and
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
