This role is a salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $145,378 - $168,130 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

The Associate Director, Asset Management Assurance manages timely and accurate reporting, coordinates, reviews and monitors activities including producing standard and at-request analytical reports that detail a range of issues, trends and analysis identified through the assurance and monitoring processes to support the delivery of the Investor Assurance and Asset Management Assurance Functions.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Coordinate and lead assurance review activities including managing agency meetings for planning reviews (including Gate 0) and review of Agencies’ asset management artefacts to assist them in achieving organisation/government objectives.
  • Establish and drive continuous efforts to improve agency asset management capabilities such as managing Asset Management Communities of Practices and other workstreams/committees.
  • Collate high quality and independent advice on issues and constraints that impact on the Asset Management frameworks, and Asset Management plans.
  • Contribute and lead the collaborative development and review of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures to determine and achieve enhanced assurance and asset management outcomes, including working with a range of agencies to maximise outcomes during implementation.
  • Manage special projects and lead components of reports to Cabinet that relate to the performance of the NSW asset portfolio.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the asset management discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, in particular advanced Microsoft Excel skills and/or data.
  • Demonstrated analytical and pro-active critical thinking skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent report writing, visual presentation design abilities, and verbal communication skills.
