We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Project Manager to join our Customer Resolutions team, driving forward transformational projects to deliver best-practice internal dispute resolution (IDR). In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Head of Customer Resolutions and a diverse group of stakeholders to enhance our operational effectiveness, compliance standards, and customer experience.

Salary: Competitive salary plus super plus annual bonus incentive

So, what’s the job?

  • You’ll lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, from initiation through to successful implementation

  • You’ll engage and build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration

  • You’ll identify, assess, and mitigate risks to project delivery, swiftly escalating critical issues to maintain momentum and project outcomes

  • You’ll drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and methodologies to optimise our IDR processes, aligning with regulatory standards (ASIC RG271 and General Insurance Code of Practice)

  • You’ll implement and manage effective change management strategies ensuring project deliverables are sustainably embedded across the business

  • You’ll provide robust reporting, tracking, and analysis of project KPIs, budgets, and outcomes

  • You’ll ensure comprehensive documentation and adherence to governance frameworks, including regulatory compliance, throughout the project lifecycle

And what are we looking for?

  • You’ll have proven experience in business project management, ideally within internal disputes resolution, claims management, financial services, or insurance industries

  • You’ll have a proven strong track record in managing complex stakeholder relationships and cross-functional projects

  • You’ll demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, with a proactive approach to managing risks, dependencies, and competing priorities

  • You’ll have experience in applying process improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Agile, Six Sigma) to drive measurable business outcomes

  • You’ll display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and collaborate at all organisational levels

  • You’ll have a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving continuous improvement
