Two (2) vacancies currently exist within the Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ), Compliance and Field Services team for a Senior Inspector (Industrial). These positions are based at Maroochydore.

As Senior Inspector (Industrial) within Workplace Health and Safety Queensland you will be part of an efficient, flexible and responsive team that strives for safer workplaces.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Enforce compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and Electrical Safety Act 2002 to enhance workplace safety.
- Participate in compliance campaigns, industry audits, workplace inspections, and risk management initiatives.
- Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and complaints, preparing detailed reports and implementing enforcement actions.
- Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders, providing education and guidance on workplace safety.
- Deliver advisory services, workshops, and presentations to promote best practices in workplace health and safety.
- Support regional planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across compliance programs and promote an inclusive, diverse workplace culture.
This role will challenge and develop your ability to engage with stakeholders, partner and educate the community in safety matters and ensure compliance within a regulatory framework.
