IntroductionA Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing data-driven marketing campaigns to drive measurable results, such as lead generation, conversions, and ROI. This role focuses on paid digital channels, analytics, and continuous campaign improvements.
Note: This role requires full-time onsite presence, 5 days a week, at our Sydney office.

Here are some key accountabilities for the Performance Marketing Specialist role:
- Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Develop, execute, and optimise Google Ads (Search, Display, Video) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns to drive measurable performance improvements (CPC, CPL, CPA, ROI) and customer acquisition growth.
- Independently manage the end-to-end process of campaign execution, from strategy creation and budget management to daily optimisation.
- Continuously optimise campaigns to improve KPIs and ensure efficient use of budget while meeting or exceeding set targets.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Analyse campaign performance regularly, providing detailed reports and actionable insights on CPC, CPL, CPA, ROI, and other relevant metrics.
- Use data to optimise and refine future campaign strategies and make informed decisions to maximise marketing spend.
- Identify trends, track industry benchmarks, and adapt strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition.
- Cross-Platform Marketing Expertise:
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to integrate paid campaigns with organic efforts and other digital marketing strategies.

Skills And Experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hands-On Experience:
- 3+ years of extensive experience executing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video) and Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook/Instagram) with a proven track record of driving ROI and optimising for KPIs such as CPC, CPL, CPA, and overall campaign efficiency.
- Advanced Reporting & Analytical Skills:
- Strong experience with campaign performance reporting, analysis, and data interpretation to optimise performance and improve ROI.
- Optimisation Expertise:
- Highly skilled in campaign optimisation across all stages, including bidding strategies, audience segmentation, creative A/B testing, and adjusting strategies based on real-time data insights.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:
- Industry-Specific Experience:
- Experience running performance marketing campaigns in complex, highly-regulated industries such as financial services or gaming.
- Programmatic & Native Content:
- Experience with programmatic advertising and native content campaigns, including working with platforms like Outbrain, Taboola, etc.
- Experience with Other Platforms:
- Experience in running ads or campaigns on social platforms beyond Google and Meta, such as Reddit, Twitter, or other emerging platforms.
