**What’s the role?**
Reporting to the Trade Marketing Director, responsible for content creation with a key focus on video-led B2B communications through social channels.
This role develops and delivers content that supports the Client Marketing program, contributing to transformative strategic thinking across News Australia’s diverse brands and businesses. Collaborating with the Client Marketing team and key stakeholders, it ensures alignment and drives engagement, bringing initiatives to life in the most innovative and impactful way.
Measuring Success for this role:
1. Audience Growth & Engagement
+ Social Media Growth: Increase in followers, impressions, and engagement rates (likes, shares, comments) across News Corp Australia and The Growth Distillery platforms.
+ Video Performance Metrics: Views, watch time, completion rates, and shares of B2B video content.
+ Content Interaction: Growth in social media interactions and discussions driven by content.
2. Market Engagement & Influence
+ Brand Awareness: Improvement in brand sentiment and share of voice in industry conversations.
+ Event Amplification: Reach and engagement levels for content supporting key industry events.
+ Thought Leadership: Number of mentions, shares, and references of content in industry discussions.
3. Business Impact & Revenue Growth
+ Lead Generation: Increase in inquiries, sign-ups, or direct client engagement from content-driven campaigns.
+ Sales Enablement: Improved performance of sales teams through targeted content (e.g., case studies, product videos).
+ Client Retention & Upsell Opportunities: Demonstrated influence on client renewal rates and expansion of advertising partnerships.
4. Content Effectiveness & Innovation
+ Data-Driven Strategy: Use of analytics to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
+ Creative Excellence: Adoption of new formats, experimental campaigns, and originality in storytelling.
+ Efficiency & Budget Management: Delivering high-impact content within allocated resources.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the social marketing strategy for News Corp Australia and The Growth Distillery Linkedin pages, driving audience growth, impactful video campaigns, and scalable new and existing formats across key events and platforms.
+ Craft compelling narratives through copy and video that connects our clients to our Sales initiatives.
+ Foster strong partnerships with all stakeholders including Sales, Product, Corporate Communications, Client Marketing, Creative teams to ensure strategic alignment and collaboration.
+ Work closely with internal creative and content teams to elevate the quality and impact of our social presence visually..
+ Maintain and enhance brand voice, tone, and identity through a strategic approach to social content, community management, and copywriting curation.
+ Leverage social analytics and internal data to refine strategy, measure performance, and uncover new opportunities. Report back to key stakeholders on these..
+ Stay ahead of cultural trends, ensuring brand relevance and thought leadership in the industry.
+ Embrace experimentation—push creative boundaries, take calculated risks, and drive innovation in content execution.
+ Manage budgets effectively to optimise resources and maximise impact at scale.
**Who are you?**

+ Previous experience in a similar B2B media marketing role is desirable
+ A confident decision-maker who can lead projects and proactively identify opportunities for clients and the business

+ Willingness to collaborate and draw in experts when needed
+ Positive, articulate and an outstanding creative problem solver

+ Inspiring communicator with clear written and verbal communication skills
