We are seeking an Estimator / Tender Assistant to join our estimating team in Mona Vale. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior estimator looking to develop their expertise in all aspects of tendering. There may also be scope to assist in the delivery stage, which will aid in developing your estimating and tendering skills and provide hands-on coal face project delivery experience.

About the Role
As an Estimator / Tender Assistant, you will support and be mentored by the Estimating Manager in preparing competitive tenders, including:
- Assisting in quantifying and pricing works
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Developing tender programs and methodologies
- Compiling tender submission documents
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies
- Conducting research and engaging with industry professionals to clarify scope and pricing
- Gaining site exposure to enhance understanding of project requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualification ideally in quantity surveying, construction management, or similar, but not essential
- Previous construction experience, ideally in quantity surveying or estimating
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full driver’s licence and ability to pass a police check
