About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Pharmacy Store Manager to join our team at Franklin Discount Drug Store.
This is a full-time role with rotational weekend shifts as part of our trading hours. That said, flexibility is available to support work-life balance.
As a key player in day-to-day operations, you'll be responsible the financial performance and profitability of the business. In addition, you will ensure all pharmacy professional ethical standards are met. You'll be available to personally advice and counsel customers, whilst remaining accessible to all staff with regards to professional guidance and supervision.
Your duties include:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Monitoring the overall financial performance and profitability of the pharmacy
- Manage rosters, ensuring staffing levels and meet daily service requirements
- Identifying staff training needs and develop action plans to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Oversee and maintain efficient inventory management systems and purchasing processes
- Ensure all merchandise is displayed in accordance with brand operational standards
Qualifications & Skills:
We welcome applications from both Non-Pharmacist and AHPRA-Registered Pharmacist applications will be considered. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience as a Store Manager, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (solid retail background also considered).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proven track record of meeting KPIs and holding yourself accountable for results.
- Knowledge of pharmacy products is beneficial.
- Certificate 2 or 3 in Community Pharmacy or dispensing experience (highly regarded).
- A strong work ethic and outstanding customer service skills.
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude.
