The Role
We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team at our Auburn office to assist in the scheduling, despatch and coordination of technicians and subcontractors.
Primary duties may include monitoring and managing work requests generated on our systems, open call management, job close out processing and data entry, identifying and escalate any defects or problems found on jobs and liaising and managing subcontractor’s attendance and service reports. This role is vital in the dispatch and coordination of technicians and subcontractors in New South Wales, ensuring all have productive work as well as liaising with customers and technicians/subcontractors regarding work in progress.
Key Competencies
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working within administration or service/scheduling, and be looking for career longevity and possess the following skills:
- Intermediate computer skills and a basic understanding of accounting functions
- Good telephone manner, clear verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding eye for detail, organised and able to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
- Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills and typing skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ideally the successful candidate will come from a service industry background where they have dealt with dispatching field staff or technicians
- Maintain a professional image and possess good interpersonal skills
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Be willing to undergo a national police background check prior to employment
