ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this position is to provide contract supervision and operational delivery of plumbing maintenance contracts for New Plumbing Solutions (NPS). This role reports into the Contract Manager.
The Contract Supervisor’s core accountabilities will be managing all aspects of resource management, quality control, contract optimisation and performance of existing contracts, as well as development of growth opportunities. You will be responsible for the administration and field teams that deliver quality customer service, efficient scheduling and job creation, accurate and timely invoicing, and any other tasks involved in administering the contracts efficiently and professionally.
This role will be accountable for our Vic Uni Contract. This is a field based role with one day in the office based at Vic Unit in Footscray. The role is to support our client and staff in the field in the West suburbs.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coach, mentor, performance manage and develop a small team of plumbers
• Develop scope of works and effectively quote in line with NPS framework
• Achieve monthly quote approval targets
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within relevant contract
• Ensure team goals align with overall company objective.
• Oversee complex and larger jobs and provide relevant client updates.
• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all works are undertaken in a safe manner
• Adhere to monthly site audit targets
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a reliable and committed Supervisor to join us. You will be a strong people leader who can develop and mentor/coach staff. Ideally, you will have the following;
• 5+ years in plumbing & 2 + years supervisor /leading hand experience.
• Commercial plumbing experience is highly regarded.
• Quoting experience is essential.
• Strong people leadership experience.
• Hold a current driver's licence.
• Plumbing registration or licence.
• Construction Induction (white/red) card.
• An aptitude for problem solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
