Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
Schedule: 8-hour shift

Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Diversional Therapist , you will:
Assist clients in identifying and engaging in their preferred recreational activities.
Encourage and support clients to participate in activities suited to their needs, interests, and abilities.
Maintain knowledge of available resources within the facility and the community.
Provide clients with information about local community resources and services.
Organize and coordinate leisure and recreational events.
Arrange for the purchase of recreational supplies and equipment.
Perform administrative duties related to planning and implementing programs.
Train and supervise volunteers to support activities.
Foster positive interactions between clients and the wider community.
Adapt programs to suit individual client needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
Who We Are Looking ForA compassionate and enthusiastic professional with a background in Diversional Therapy, Recreation, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and their families.
Excellent organizational abilities to plan and execute programs effectively.
Knowledge of community resources and the ability to create meaningful connections.
Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or mental health services is highly regarded.
Must be legally authorized to work in Australia.
