An exciting opportunity is currently available for a Digital Marketing Manager to join a thriving family, owned and operated retail, fashion business.The Role:
Be responsible for the development and hands-on implementation of digital marketing strategies in line with the wider marketing strategies for 3 x retail brands. This includes performance marketing, social media, SEO, and affiliates. You will be accountable for driving relevant traffic, sales, brand awareness and customer engagement through insight-led and cost-effective digital marketing activities.
Initially, this role will be more hands-on, but once on board you will be responsible for hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist as a direct report to take over the hands-on element with the Womenswear Brands, while your role will
focus on optimisations, deliverables, stakeholder management and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies and roadmaps across all digital marketing channels for each managed brand.
- Work hands-on in the set-up and daily management of SEM campaigns across Google and Microsoft, ensuring objectives, conversion goals, creative/terms, and budgets are continually optimised.
- Develop and execute paid social media strategies to drive cost-effective sales, social audience growth and customer engagement across all social platforms, with the ultimate objective of building brand awareness and growing market share.
- Manage affiliate opportunities directly with publishers utilizing independent platform (i.e. Impact), ensuring objectives and placements are on-brand
- Liaise closely with each brands marketing team, CRM, and eCommerce teams to develop content calendars and creative to supports effective SEO and digital marketing performance.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure the marketing messages and content used in all digital marketing campaigns are aligned with the respective brands guidelines and tone of voices.
- Collaborate with the brand marketing teams on the development of organic social media strategies and consult on best practice activity and community management.
- Continually test and learn from digital marketing campaigns to ensure you are maximizing awareness and trade conversion.
- Digital marketing technology experience, including a high degree of understanding of SEO, CRM, and Social Media platforms.
- Understanding of HTML (preferable)
- High understanding of web analytics using Google Analytics or similar.
- Competencies in MS Office, particularly in Excel for deep diving into data if required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a hands-on digital marketing role, preferably in a retail or agency environment.
- Ideally worked for an ecommerce brand or a brand with a digital focus.
