Company:Join a leading multidisciplinary builder in Melbourne which is dedicated to delivering major loss commercial insurance works in Melbourne's Metropolitan areas.
Role Overview:
My client is seeking a Site Supervisor with Major Loss insurance building experience, to join their company in a newly created permanent role.
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, this position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver maintenance, and repair works on predominantly multi-residential & apartment buildings in Melbourne's Inner Metro area's.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise a low volume of projects in the Metropolitan areas.
- Coordinate & manage trades.
- Coordinate access to properties.
- Liaise between strata managers & owners.
- Provide regular repair progress updates to strata managers & owners.
- Dispute & issue resolution.
- Ensure OHS requirements are adhered to on site.
- Preform QA inspection on completed works.
- 3+ years of experience supervising strata or commerical insurance building projects.
- Ideally Carpentry / Building Trade Qualification.
- Cert IV or above, Building & Construction Qualification
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders.
- Good work ethic & highly motivated.
- Current & valid motor vehicle licence.
